Starting on May 17, we have begun a 21 day “Trade with God.” We are called as Christians to surrender out lives to the Lord, “to die to self”, this is a non-negotiable part of the faith. The concept of “dying to self” is found throughout the New Testament. It expresses the core of the Christian life, in which we take up our cross and follow Christ. Dying to self is part of being born again; the old self dies and the new self comes to life.
