Rice Temple Baptist Church’s special online Vacation Bible School for 2020, Concrete & Cranes, will be building on the Love of Jesus showing you about the foundation that lasts. As you explore a world of concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes, you will learn to build your faith on Jesus as you uncover the truth that He who began a good work will be faithful to carry it on to completion.
This online VBS is broken up into 5 days, each focusing on a specific truth about Jesus and how He can become your STRONG FOUNDATION! Each day has four video segments that you will watch plus a set of instructions for a fun craft. Also, there are suggestions for a special snack.
Start with the fun & exciting High Steel Worship Rally with Ms. Anna & Elizabeth where you will learn the songs and motions.
Then move onto the Blueprint Bible Story. There are three levels to pick from – one for younger kids (Pre-K through First Grade) taught by Ms. Kelly, one for elementary kids (Second through Sixth Grade) taught by Ms. Hannah, and one for Adults taught by Ms. Susan, Ms. Jessica, and Ms. Leslie.
Once you have learned what the Bible story says about the day’s theme, visit Excavator Missions with Ms. Lisa to learn how a missionary family living in Italy makes Jesus their strong foundation.
In the last video, you can practice your Foundation Memory Bible Verses with Ms. Gail. There are Memory Verse flashcards in your toolbox. If you didn’t get a toolbox, print out your flashcards at home. If you can tell the verse to an adult, you will receive the Memory Maker tag for the day! (Parents, the Memory Maker tags and the carabiner for them are in the “Tool Box” bag if you picked one up. Here is a file for printing the tags if you did not get them: Memory Makers tags.)
Bulldozer Crafts are next. Ms Debbie has exciting things for you to create! A good idea is to look at the instructions a head of time so you will have all you need.
Be sure to check out the Food Truck for snack ideas! Look here for a list of Snack Ideas that you may already have on hand. Also, for each day there is a special snack idea that would take a little extra preparation.
